Philip C. Intelisano

Philip C. Intelisano, of Pensacola, FL died on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Baptist Hospital. He was 65.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Philip C. Intelisano of Perkasie and the late Joanmarie DeStefano Intelisano who passed in January 2021.

Philip moved from South Philadelphia to NE Philadelphia and attended St. Anselm’s until 1972 when his family moved to Bucks County, PA. Philip graduated in 1976 from Council Rock High School in Newtown, PA. He ran track and participated in drama while in school. Philip had an interest in sailing which began as a young man using his grandfather’s boat. He also enjoyed water and snow skiing, as well as, riding motorcycles. He spent a great deal of time riding while at his family’s vacation home in the Poconos.

Philip began working in various areas before he settled down and began his career in home repair and construction. In 1995 Philip moved to Pensacola, Florida continuing his home repair and construction business. Philip expanded his construction work when he started Castle Block using hurricane and tornado resistant housing with ICF block building systems. He built with this technology in the Caribbean and traveled to England doing consulting and sales.

A loving son, brother, uncle and friend, Philip will be remembered for his ease and ability to laugh and his sensitive and caring heart.

He is survived by his long-time companion and fiancé Janette Simmons of Pensacola, his father Philip Intelisano, his sister Joanmarie V. Schweizerhof and her husband David of Perkasie and. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Maria and her husband Matt, Ian, Natalie, Audrey and Addison and his wife Leah.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 9:00am to 9:45am followed by his Funeral Mass 10:00am in St. Agnes Church, 445 N. Main Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. Philip’s interment will be held in St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.
