Thomas Loughlin

Thomas J. Loughlin of Warminster, PA died peacefully on Friday, May 17, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  He was 87.

He was the beloved husband of Catherine T. (nee Plover) Loughlin for the past 64 years.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the beloved son of the late Martin and Mary Fannin Loughlin and brother of the late Joseph Loughlin, Martin Loughlin, Mary Guthrie, and Elizabeth Brennan.

Tom had been a resident of Southampton, PA for 56 years before recently moving to Ann’s Choice in Warminster. After graduating from Northeast Catholic High School for Boys in 1954, he served in the U.S. Army for 2 years.  Most of his career was spent in sales and later as a successful business owner and manufacturer’s representative.  In his leisure time, he enjoyed golfing and was an avid fan of the Philadelphia sports teams.

Tom was very proud of his Irish heritage. He had a great sense of humor and a sharp wit that endeared him to anyone lucky enough to know him.  He will be lovingly missed as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his five daughters, Kathleen L. Carey and her partner, Gary Scott, Christine T. Prendergast and her husband John, Helen M. Wass and her husband David, Mary Ann Wilson and her husband Patrick, and Carol R. Smith.  Also surviving are his 12 grandchildren, Colleen Carey Avallone (RJ), Thomas Carey (Kayleigh), Patrice Carey, Sean Prendergast (Allison), Daniel Prendergast (Kelly), Caitlin Loughson (Taylor), Timothy Wass (Josie), Matthew Wass (Lexxi), Laura Wilson, Jack Wilson, Megan Smith, Kelly Smith and 9 great grandchildren, Vaeh, Grace, Emet, Sophia, Gwendolen, Owen, Cooper, Rhys, and Morgan.
