Ernest R. DeAngelis Sr.

Ernie was born in Philadelphia September 9, 1942. After graduating from Neshaminy High School he studied at Drexel University, where he received his Civil Engineering degree, in 1965. Ernie married Joyce Kindy and created a happy loving home for his family.

Born September 5, 1942 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Albert B. and Olga (Boselli) DeAngelis.

Ernie spent most of his years employed at the PQ Corporation in Malvern, Pa. He was dedicated to his career and was known for having a very good eye for detail. He oversaw the expansion of PQ plants around the world, traveling to places such as Germany, China, Australia and all around the United States.

Ernie retired in 2010 to enjoy retirement traveling to his home in Lewes, Delaware where he liked walking the boardwalk with his wife and having dinner with his family and neighbors. Ernie loved his family, and passed peacefully at home with them by his side.

Along with his wife, Joyce, Ernest is survived by three children, Ernest DeAngelis, Christa DeAngelis (David), and Robert DeAngelis (Ann Marie); seven grandchildren, Julien, Evan, Biase, Brianna, Christian, Anya, and Blaise; and two siblings, Albert DeAngelis (Bernice) and Louise Beit.
