Matthew Nesteruk

Matthew Nesteruk of Fairless Hills died suddenly on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.  He was 44.

Matt was the father of Regan Nesteruk and husband of Danielle Smith Nesteruk.

Born in Langhorne he was the son of Barbara Clevenstine Steinmetz and the late Michael Nesteruk Jr.

Matt worked for the Newtown Sewer Authority for over 20yrs, his last title was Chief Administrative Officer, and his license plate proudly read “Sewr Guy”.  He was a hard worker who took a lot of pride in his work. He enjoyed time spent in the mountains at the cabin of the Newtown Sportsman Club in Bradford County.  He enjoyed throwing skeet and watching everyone have a good time. Matt was a history and politic aficionado who enjoyed reading and debating about historical events and political affairs.  He enjoyed going out to dinner with his family and trying new restaurants. When he was not working or spending time with family, Matt would be found interacting and enjoying time with his neighbors. Matt will be greatly missed but eternally remembered and loved by everyone who was in his life and loved by him. 

In addition to his loving daughter Regan, wife Danielle and his mother Barbara, Matt is survived by his brother Jeff and his wife Deanna, and his sister Lori Settlemoir.  He is also survived by his nephews Jeffrey and Travis Settlemoir, Drew, Jack and Mason Nemeth, Hunter Smith, and his nieces Samantha and Sophie Nesteruk and Riley Nemeth. 

Matt’s family will receive friends on Friday, May 31, 2024 from 9:00am until his Funeral Service 11:00AM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road Richboro, PA 18954.  His interment will follow at Newtown Cemetery.
