Marion "Gerrie" G. Spor (Wilson)

Marion “Gerrie” Spor, a cherished mother of three and adored grandmother of five, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2024 in Warrington, Pennsylvania, surrounded by her loving family. Her departure leaves a void in the lives of those who knew her, but her legacy of love and kindness will forever endure.

Born in Philadelphia to her late parents Robert and Marion (Riley) Wilson, Gerrie was a beacon of light in her community from the very beginning. Her warmth and compassion touched the lives of everyone she encountered. After completing her education, Gerrie found her calling in healthcare administration and dedicated over four decades of her life to serving others as a medical office manager and credentialing coordinator. Her professionalism, consideration, and attention to detail earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and patients alike.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Gerrie's greatest joy in life was her family. As a devoted mother, she poured her heart and soul into nurturing her three children, instilling in them the values of compassion, resilience and a strong Roman Catholic faith. Her home was always filled with laughter, love, and the aroma of her delicious home-cooked meals. In her role as a grandmother, Gerrie found renewed purpose and delight in showering her grandchildren with affection and creating cherished memories that will be treasured for generations to come.

Whether lending a listening ear, offering words of encouragement, or simply sharing a comforting embrace, Gerrie had a profound impact on the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel valued and loved, and her kindness knew no bounds. She was especially known for her gift-giving skills, always knowing the perfect item to convey her love and thoughtfulness.

In her free time, Gerrie enjoyed the Gardening and Travel Clubs within her community, as well as playing bingo. She also cherished her days at the beach and going to the theater. She was a devoted friend, a loyal confidante, and a warrior until the end.

Although Gerrie is now in a better place, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to have known her. Her love and strength will continue to inspire and guide us in the days ahead, reminding us to cherish every moment and to live each day with kindness, compassion, and faith.

Gerrie is survived by her loving children,  Robert F. Spor (Kelly), Tara Guido (Joseph), Christina Harrison (Shane), her cherished grandchildren, Gianna, Alessandra and Andrew Guido, Rachel and Robert D. Spor, her sister-in-law, Nancy Kiniry, her brothers-in-law, William Kiniry, Richard Spor, and a host of relatives and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.

Rest in peace, dear Gerrie. You will be deeply missed and eternally remembered.
