Mary M. Farrell

Mary M. Farrell died peacefully and surrounded by her family on June 7 in Richboro. She was 101 years old.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late John J Farrell. They had shared over 40 years of marriage at the time of his passing in 1989.

Born in New York City, Mary was the daughter of the late Edward and Nora Lenehan. She was the sister of the late Agnes Smith and Edward Lenehan Jr.

Mary will be greatly missed by her sons, Edward and Timothy (Peg), her daughter, Patricia Klevecz (Tim), three grandchildren, Bridget Mattei (Mike), Brendan Farrell and Sean Farrell and two great-grandchildren, Molly and Michael Mattei.

Faith and Family were at the center of Mary’s life. She was a devoted member of the St Bede’s community since 1968, volunteered for, and participated in countless parish activities over the years, making lasting friendships along the way. With regards to family, as she lived the longest of her generation, Mary became a Matriarch over the years and made it her responsibility to stay present in the lives of her nieces, nephews and their offspring. The love and appreciation for what she meant to all was expressed at a memorable 100th Birthday celebration in March of 2023 with family members traveling from far and wide to be there and honor her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mary’s viewing on Friday, June 14, 2024 at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro from 9:00am to 11:00am and to her Funeral Mass 11:30 am at St. Bede Catholic Church, 1071 Holland Rd, Holland. Her interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne, PA 19047.
