Charles Joseph Keszkowski, Jr.
Charles J. Keszkowski, Jr., 87 years old of Holland, PA passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, August 17, 2024. Born in Philadelphia to the late Charles Keszkowski, Sr. and Elizabeth Peoples in 1937.
Charles, known to most as Charlie, met his wife Irene, while enjoying his love for baseball and they have spent a wonderful 65 years together.
Charlie was an honorable man starting with his service in the US Army and transitioning into his 41-year career with Sandmeyer Steel Company. He was always up for an adventure, traveling to over 20 countries with his wife and lifelong friends, and would never turn down a casino trip. Charlie appreciated the little things in life and took pride in his home especially during Christmas. He was a devoted family man with his most important roles being a husband, dad, and Pop-Pop.
Charles is survived by his wife, Irene Keszkowski (Dobies); three loving daughters, Karen Bottorf, Diane Carroll (Tim), Michele Trail (Mark), sister, Dolores Usewicz (Richard), five grandchildren, Kimberly Cataldo (John), Nicole Carroll (Matt), Devon Trail, Taylor Trail (Rob), Shayne Trail (Lexi); and two great grandchildren, Giovanni and Ariana Cataldo.
Family and friends are welcome to visit on Thursday, August 22nd from 10am-11am at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1701 Holland Road, Holland, PA. A funeral mass will follow. Interment will be private to the family.
