Kenneth R. Sowers

Kenneth R. Sowers, 89, of Doylestown, passed away August 21, 2024.

Born May 19, 1935 in Auburn, he was a son of the late Elmer Franklin and Ernestine (Bensinger) Klinger.

Kenneth had many amazing friendships throughout his long life, saving his most cherished bond for last with his partner William. As an avid traveler, he saw many parts of this beautiful world. He loved steam engine trains, thrift stores, antiques, watching Lawrence Welk and movies, listening to music and gardening.

Survivors include his loving partner, Bill Mebs; and his adoptive family, Kathie Mebs, Jessica (Apollo), Daniel (Marissa), Meghan (Paul), Hannah, Tanner, the late Madison, Mickayla, Apollo, Jr., Daniel Jr., Everett, and Laila.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Friday, August 30, 2024 from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.), New Britain. Interment will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler.
