George N. Chase

George N. Chase of Ann’s Choice, Warminster PA, formerly of Richboro, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, August 22, 2024. He was 95 years old.

George was the beloved husband of Jean Chase (nee Schweiger) for 73 years.  George met Jean at an auction in Somerton and then shared over 80 years of friendship, laughter, love, and family.

Born in Reading, PA, George was the son of the late Charles and Florence Chase.  He was predeceased by his brother Charles Chase and sister Mary Lucas.

George was employed at Keystone Race Track (now Parx) and Powers Regulator Company. He was a proud member of the Steamfitters Local 420 Union for over 75 years. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 440. George was a kind and compassionate man who loved the NJ shore, fishing and most of all spending time with family and friends. He was always there for them, whether to listen, tell a story, offer advice or fix whatever needed fixing.

In addition to his wife Jean, George will be dearly missed by his children George C. Chase (Carol Ann Marusiak) of Phoenix, AZ, Charles W. Chase of Warminster, PA, and Catherine Incollingo (John) of Lansdale, PA; grandchildren, Stephanie (Karl), Bill (Diana), Michael (Kelly), Patrick (Jacquie), Maria (Ryan); Nicole Hamic (Ryan), Jason Marusiak (Heather); great-grandchildren, Katie, Nick, Everley, Ellis and Petra, as well, as many extended family members and friends that George considered family.

Memorial service with military honors will take place on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, 11:00am, at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Drive, Newtown, PA 18940.
