Preparing Children for Grief
Talking with children about serious illness, death, and grief can feel overwhelming. Here is some practical, age-appropriate ways to explain loss, prepare children for a funeral or viewing, and help them find meaningful ways to say goodbye, express their feelings and hold onto the memories of someone they love.

Supporting a Grieving Friend
Supporting someone through grief doesn't require the perfect words or knowing exactly what to do. Often, the greatest gift we can offer is simply to be present—to listen, remember their loved one, help in practical ways, and continue checking in long after the funeral is over. Sometimes, being there is enough.
