Supporting a Grieving Friend
Supporting someone through grief doesn't require the perfect words or knowing exactly what to do. Often, the greatest gift we can offer is simply to be present—to listen, remember their loved one, help in practical ways, and continue checking in long after the funeral is over. Sometimes, being there is enough.

Anticipatory Grief
Grief doesn’t always begin at the moment of death. For many families and caregivers, it begins much earlier—as illness changes a loved one’s health, independence, or personality and the future starts to look different. Anticipatory grief can be complicated and exhausting, but understanding it can help us navigate the journey with greater compassion—for our loved one and for ourselves.
