Ronald F. Widmayer

Ronald F. Widmayer of Richboro, PA died suddenly on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at his residence. He was 62.

He was the beloved husband of Eileen Shaw Widmayer for 35 years.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Francis Macomb Widmayer and Bertha D. Griggs Widmayer and brother of the late Raymond Widmayer..

Mr. Widmayer was a resident of Richboro for the past 22 years. He was employed at Spring Mill Country Club in Ivyland for over 20 years where his most recent position was beverage manager. Ron enjoyed horseback riding as well as spending time with his beloved pets, Emme, Damien, Bradley and Isabella. He was family oriented and enjoyed the special times spent with his children and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed as a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his four children; Ronald F. Widmayer and his wife, Tracy Kahlert, of Philadelphia, Stacy A. Widmayer and her husband, Michael G. Hondros Jr. of Philadelphia, Lauren Widmayer and her husband, Matthew Burt, of Boston, MA, and Allison V. Widmayer of Richboro and her fiancé, Eric DeLuca, his two brothers, Michael Widmayer and Terrence Widmayer, both of Philadelphia, and his three sisters, Bonnie LeFavi, Diane Kelly, and Viola Vogt, all of Philadelphia. He is also survived by his five grandchildren; Erin O’Donnell, Karly Kahlert, Kara Hondros, Emily Widmayer and Michael G. Hondros III.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday, August 15,2011, from 8:30 AM until 10:45 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road) Richboro, PA 18954 and to his Funeral Mass 11:30 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Richboro.

Interment will take place at Union Cemetery in Richboro.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 225 City Avenue, Suite 104, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004 or Aplastic Anemia International Foundation, 100 Park Avenue, Suite 108, Rockville, MD 20850.
