Mary Caroline Mullins (Fields)

Mary Caroline Fields Mullins, of Perkasie, PA, passed away peacefully at her home with her family at her side on March 12, 2019. She was 86 years old.

Caroline is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ted; her daughter Kathryn Herman and her husband Ron; her daughter Lisa Marchiano and her husband Dr. Dominic Marchiano; and her grandchildren, Gioia Marchiano and Paolo Marchiano.

Caroline was born May 29, 1932 in Kingston, GA, to Eugene Spencer and Grace Paris Fields. She is predeceased by her siblings, Eugene S. Fields, Jr., Elbert Payson Fields, and Wilma Cantrell.

She graduated from Taylorsville High School and earned a B.A. degree from Georgia College and University and an M.A. degree from Fairfield University. She was a woman of many interests. An accomplished oil painter and a Master gardener who loved art, nature and learning, Caroline was especially passionate about gardening and the study of psychology. She was a life-long inspiration to her daughters. Today, one is a renowned landscape designer and the other, a diplomate Jungian Analyst. Caroline will live on in their work and hearts.

As a best friend, loving companion and ardent supporter for 63 years, Caroline enriched Ted’s life in countless ways.

 

Funeral services were held privately and a private burial was held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA.
