Emma Marie Volpe (Volz)

Emma Marie Volpe, of Newtown, died Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown. She was 96 years old.

Emma was the beloved wife of the late Alfred Mario Volpe. The couple had shared 41 years of friendship, love, family and laughter.

Born in Philadelphia, Emma was the daughter of the late John W. and Emma Baehr Volz and sister of the late William Volz.

She was a graduate of Mastbaum High School, class of 1942.  Emma married her beloved husband in 1946 and they spent 41 years together until his passing in 1988. A woman of faith, fortitude and determination. A faithful communicant of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Newtown.                                                        

Emma will be missed and remembered by her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. John A and Mary Volpe and her grandsons, John, Joseph and Jack Volpe.

Relatives and friends may greet Emma’s family on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 10:30am until the start of her Funeral Mass, 11:30am, St. Andrew Catholic Church at 81 Swamp Road in Newtown, PA 18940. Her interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chandler Hall Hospice, 99 Barclay St. Newtown, PA. 18940 or Bucks County SPCA   P.O. Box 277 Lahaska, PA 18931.
