Robert J. Karbach

Robert J. Karbach, of North Wales, PA died early Sunday morning on April 3, 2022, at Doylestown Hospital. He was 79.

He was the beloved husband of 37 years to Joanne DiLaurenzo Karbach.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was one of two sons to Henry and Rose Sommers Karbach.

Bob served in the United States Army as a specialist E4 for 6 years. After his service, he worked for Fischer and Porter, later known as ABB for over 40 years. Bob spent a lifetime enjoying his family, friends, cats, photography, Disney, NASCAR and golf.

In addition to his wife, Joanne, he is survived by his daughter, Barbara Woodward and her wife Cindy Woodward of Fairless Hills and his son, Robert Karbach and his wife Shannon of O'Fallon, Illinois and his sister in law Rosemary Karbach of New Jersey. He is also survived by his five grandchildren; Brandon and his partner Jeff, Kyle-Lee and his wife Cindy, Alexandria, Devon and his fiancé Samantha and Benjamin and his two great-grandchildren; Aiden and Zoey. His brother Hank Karbach predeceased him in death.

His family will receive relatives and friends on May 12, 2022 from 11:00 am, until his Funeral Service at 12:00 noon, in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901.  His interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made either to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105, or to Stray Cat Blues Rescue, at P.O Box 8, Colmar, PA 18915.
