Dorothy J. Long

Dorothy J. Long of Feasterville, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022 at her residence. She was 81.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Eldred W. and Nancy A. McVey Talley.

Dottie had a 40-year career in the automotive industry working at various car dealerships as a warranty clerk. After her retirement she decided to work at Macy’s part time in the housewares department. She made many new friends there, but nothing gave her as much joy as her family. Dottie devoted her life to her children and family. She will be terribly missed by all who loved her.

Dottie is survived by her daughters, Wanda Ivers of Feasterville, Marnie Rusden and her husband Michael of Ivyland, Susan Gross of Feasterville; grandchildren; Amber Nickels and her husband Jon, Michael Ivers, Kathleen Batt and her husband Timothy, Cole Rusden and Pierce Rusden; great-grandchildren, Bryce, Ambrielle, Patrick, Jr., Abigail, Shayna Mae and Finley; many nieces and nephews. Dottie is also predeceased by her grandson Patrick and her 10 siblings.

Dottie’s family will receive friends on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 10:00am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA 18954, until her Funeral Service at 11:00am. Interment to take place immediately following at Sunset Memorial Park.
