Norine M. Cross

Norine Marguerite Cross (Eisler) passed away at St. Mary Medical Center on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at the age of 43. Beloved wife of 14 years to Stephen Cross. Devoted mother of Stephen Cross, Charles Cross and Chloe Cross. Loving sister of Charles Eisler (Pamela) and Christine Eisler Lindsay (Mark). Daughter in law of Stephen Cross and Helen Cross. Sister in law of Carolyn Cross and Kevin Cross. Also survived by her nephew and nieces (Colin, Hailey, Delaney, and Adeleigh). Norine was predeceased by her father Charles Eisler and her mother Norine (Kautz) Eisler. She was surrounded in her final days by members of her extended family (the Calderbank family and the Bell/LoMastro family).

Norine was born on November 2, 1979 in Elkins Park, PA. She grew up in Philadelphia, PA and attended St. Martin of Tours School. She went on to attend high school at St. Basil Academy where she met her lifelong group of friends affectionately known as the “Basil girls”. She graduated with honors from Holy Family University with a bachelor’s degree in communications. While attending college, Norine was a waitress at Tony’s Place in Mayfair, PA. One of her co-workers/friends introduced her to their cousin, Stephen and they were married on October 11, 2008. They have three beautiful children. Norine always said her greatest joy in life was being a mother. She made every day special for them. She enjoyed watching them play their sports and was especially proud of their academic achievements. They enjoyed spending time together as a family in Disneyworld and at the beach in the Outer Banks, North Carolina.

Norine was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in October 2015. Every treatment, surgery, scan, etc. she completed was to try to live one day longer to be with her family and friends. She became a fierce advocate for metastatic breast cancer research and elevating the voices of those living with metastatic disease. She raised money annually for Metavivor and was proud to raise over $11,000 in the last year of her fundraising efforts. Norine’s courageous spirit and determination will forever be remembered by those who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Monday, October 9, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro.
