Mary Schneider (Schoenleber)

Mary (Schoenleber) Schneider, of Ivyland, PA returned to the Lord on Saturday, January 13, 2024. After beating cancer twice, battling for 35 years, she succumbed to her illness, at home surrounded by her family. She was 65 years old.

Born April 4, 1958 in Elkins Park, PA, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Florence (Killian) Schoenleber and grandmother of the late Weston Schneider and Briar McQueen.

Mary attended Assumption B.V.M School in Feasterville and Archbishop Wood High School where she met her beloved husband of 44 years, Eric Schneider.  After high school, she began her first real job with Miller Real Estate, where she did sales and conveyance work. She went on to get her real estate license and was a realtor for the rest of her career.

In fact, she sold her last house the day before her passing.

Mary adored her friendships. She was a loving, giving, kind, helpful and loyal friend. She was always thinking of others before herself. She was a true testament of her strong faith.

Mary’s greatest joy in life was her family. Her loving husband, children and most importantly her grandchildren. She said being a grandmother was pure bliss. Some of her fondest memories with her family were spent in Sea Isle City together, where Mary and Eric had a house for 36 years.

Mary was deeply loved by so many and will forever be remembered for her kind heart and electric smile. She went by many names, Mary, Mom, St. Mary, but her favorite was “Lolly”.

In addition to her loving husband, Mary is survived by her four children, Charles Schneider and his wife, Lynne of Warminster, Megan McQueen and her husband Scott of Warrington, Shannon Shepperd and her husband Timothy of Jamison, Scott Schneider and his wife Alexandra of Philadelphia, her five brothers Marty Schoenleber and wife Stephanie, Karl Schoenleber and wife Dawn, Edward Schoenleber and wife Tina, William Schoenleber and wife Stephanie, Joseph Schoenleber and wife Liz, and  sister Heather Tashjian and husband Ron. She is also survived by her nine dear grandchildren: Ruby and Leonardo Schneider, Nora, James and Eric McQueen, Brody, Sienna and Hudson Shepperd and Theodore Schneider.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewings, on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm and Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 9:30am until her Funeral Mass, 11:00 am all held in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road, Richboro, PA 18954. Her interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA.
