Barbara V. Niederriter (Socoloski)

Barbara Victoria Niederriter of Holland died peacefully at age 70 on Tuesday, May 7 at Temple University Hospital Jeanes Campus. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Rose (Greco) Socoloski, as well as her brother Paul Socoloski.

Born in Levittown, PA as the oldest of seven, Barbara enjoyed a lifetime of parties and gatherings with her many siblings, cousins, aunts, and uncles. She was a longtime and active parishioner of St. Bede the Venerable, where she also taught computers for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Tom, and their loving son Shawn of Glenside, PA. She will be greatly missed by her siblings; brothers Greg Socoloski (Sue) and Joseph Socoloski, and sisters Lucille Koch (Kevin), Roseanne Socoloski, Claudia Spencer (Jeffery), and Sister in-law Lynn Socoloski. She will also be deeply missed by her in-laws, James Niederriter (Maridel), Robert Niederriter (Ginger), Lee Niederriter (Holly), and Janice Niederriter (Jim Blosser). Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday Evening, May 14, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00PM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954 and to her Funeral Mass at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at  St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road Holland, PA 18966.  Her interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to: Aid for Friends, 12271 Townsend Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19154-1288.
