Alexandra Corelli (Wenzel)

Alexandra Corelli, of New Hope and formerly of Holland, died Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Doylestown Hospital. She was 73.

She was the beloved wife of the late Wayne O. Corelli, Sr.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Pauline Lapps Wenzel.

Alexandra graduated from West Philadelphia High School. She then earned an associates degree in Nursing from Bucks County Community College, and was a Registered Nurse for Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia and Mercer County Hospital in New Jersey. She was a former resident of Holland for 20 years and a member of Addisville Reformed Church. She lived in Marco Island, Florida from 1982 till 1999.

In her free time, Alexandra enjoyed gardening. A gourmet cook, she considered nutrition very important and loved to feed her family delicious, nutritious meals. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family, and she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her sons: James M. Herrmann III, husband of Taryn of Evans, GA and Steven S. Herrmann, husband of Nancy of Hopewell Junction, NY; her daughter: Susan Lynn McCredie, wife of Michael of Newtown, PA; her brother: Raymond Wenzel, husband of Tara of Hanover, PA, and four grandchildren: Shannon and Kendra Herrmann and Morgan and Brandon McCredie.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at 11:00am on Saturday, January 5, 2012 at Addisville Reformed Church, 945 Second Street Pike, Richboro, PA 18954.

Interment will be private and at the discretion of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 555 North Lane, Suite 5010, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
