Erich J. Uhlenbrock

Erich J. Uhlenbrock, 60, of Churchville, Pa. passed away Monday, July 25, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Kristine M. (Palermo) Uhlenbrock.

Born December 29, 1961 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Erich L. and Loretta P. (Piunti) Uhlenbrock.

Erich was born in Philadelphia and attended Textile University (now Jefferson University) where he received his bachelor’s degree in business. He turned his degree into owning a landscaping company. During his many years in the business, all of his clients became friends too. He always found time to have a chat with them!

He learned how to be so social and friendly from his large family. Although every person he passed felt so special, there was nothing more important to him than his entire family, particularly around the holidays!

Erich was an avid volleyball player, and on the court is where he met his forever soulmate Kristine. Aside from volleyball, Erich has carried an enthusiasm for Walt Disney World, he held a vacation club membership for over 20 years and shared many family vacations and made many friends there when he worked for the “Mouse”.

Aside from his passion for volleyball and Disney, his biggest passion and pride was being a dad to Karly. He was so proud to cheer her on when she followed in his footsteps and got onto the volleyball court.

Erich’s power of positivity and courageous battle had a true affect on anyone who crossed paths with him.

He will forever be remembered and his family will carry his positivity through their journey without him.

Along with his wife, Kristine, Erich is survived by two children, Karly Uhlenbrock of Churchville and Mickey LaPorta (Shannon) of Ivyland; and two siblings, Steve Uhlenbrock (Dee) and Lori Murphy (Ray) and their children, Shane, Alivia and Julia; and a brother-in-law, Frank Craparo, and his children Shane and Morgan.

Erich was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Craparo.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 10:00 am Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro. Interment will be held privately.
