Jacquelyn Scholl (Babst)

Jacquelyn Scholl, 77, died peacefully on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Richboro Care Center in Richboro, PA.

Jacquelyn was the beloved wife of James Scholl. The couple had shared 24 years of marriage, friendship and laughter.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Jacquelyn was the daughter of the late William and Anne Gilson Babst.

Jacquelyn loved a good yard sale. Whether she was hosting one, or shopping, she enjoyed finding treasures. She also enjoyed fishing at Core Creek Park and the quiet time that came along with it. She could frequently be found at the casino slot machines.

She worked for many years as a hall monitor at Council Rock High School, retiring in the 1980s. She enjoyed her work and being around the students.

In addition to her husband James, Jacquelyn will be remembered by her her brother, Stephen Babst and his wife Joann; her step-children, Linda Smith and her husband Joseph and Carol Reed. She is also survived by several step-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Jacquelyn’s family on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 11:30am, until the start of her prayer service at 12:30 pm, at the Joseph A Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Road, at Holland Road, in Richboro, PA 18954. Her interment will follow at Beechwood Cemetery in Bensalem, PA.
