Kathryn "Joan" Souilliard (Moser)

Kathryn J. Souilliard passed away peacefully on April 26, 2024. The loving wife of the late Donald Souilliard. Born January 28, 1935 in East Mauch Chunk, PA (Jim Thorpe). She was the daughter of the late John and Kathryn Moser (Bimler).

After high school, she attended Sacred Heart Nursing School in Allentown where she received her RN degree. Upon graduating she worked at Sacred Heart Hospital and Allentown State Hospital. While attending Nursing School she met Donald, her lifelong love. They wed in 1957 and were married for 61 years until his death. After they were married she worked at Georgetown Hospital in D.C., (while Donald finished his residency and military service) until the birth of their first child. Kathryn was a stay-at-home mom until she went back to school and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Trenton State College in 1979. She then worked as an RN at several area nursing homes until her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Andrews Catholic Church. She loved reading, watching a good mystery show and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son John Souilliard (Julie) of Alburtis, PA.; her daughters, Donna Oliver (Harry) of Langhorne, PA., Sharon Pullins (late Carl) of Langhorne, PA. and Debra Mulliken (Corey) of Doylestown, PA.; her sister, Ruth Watto; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, her sister Ethel Moser and her brother William Moser.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 10am-11am at Olde Church of St. Andrew, 135 South Sycamore Street, Newtown, PA. A Funeral Mass will follow. In lieu of flowers contributions in Kathryn’s name may be made to Poor Clares of the Franciscan Monastery of Saint Claire, 1271 Langhorne Newtown Road, Langhorne, PA 19047. Kathryn also requested everyone visit a person in a nursing home or who is homebound.
