Dear cousins and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. It just breaks my heart that our older relatives are so susceptible to this terrible disease. I'm so sorry that we can't be with you to help you in your pain and loss. I have some pictures I'll upload that were in my mom's old photo album.
So sorry for your loss. My prayers and thoughts are with you. My you find peace in the memories shared.
Our deepest sympathy on the loss of Aunt May. Sending our best wishes to the family for comfort and peace at this difficult time. A mother holds a special place in all our hearts that will be treasured forever. Please know Aunt May was loved greatly by everyone, including all of us from the Ashton side, Eileen (mom) Ashton, Glenn, Eileen (Courtney), Gene and Steven. May she rest in peace.
So many memories of Mrs. Ridge (as we called her but always corrected by her…"It's May"). We will miss our dear friend of over 40 years, she will not be forgotten. We were just a couple of kids when we moved across the street. May & Bill kind of adopted us and helped us grow into the people we are today. Judy was fortunate as clothing sizes changed over the years that May offered her beautiful clothing from Villager...size 8, then 10's, eventually 12's & 14's. But like Judy's dad use to say as her mom's clothing size changed...his investment grew. Bill & Gary had the same good investments in wives! Every Spring & Fall since May moved, we miss seeing May out working in the yard. Something is amiss in the neighborhood. As we put away our Annalee Santa collection that grew over the years, thanks to May, our thoughts are with her. May will be remembered by these special Santa's. The box we keep them in is labeled "Mrs. Ridges Santa's". The step stool we use almost every day is a reminder of May. She gave it to us many years ago. When we're looking for it, we refer to it as "Mrs. Ridge’s step stool". Mr.& Mrs. Ridge made a great team...oops Bill & May! And now once again this great team has been reunited!
Forever in our Hearts & Memories!
Judy & Gary
