What a lovely tribute to the incandescent Josie! She was such an incredible person - just to be with her was to be awash in joy and fun and support. Truly a one-of-a-kind blessing of a human being. There are no words for how sorry I am for this difficult loss- nor for how privileged I feel to have known her.

She was my teacher many years ago at NHS and she was one of the absolute best! Always dedicated, fun and encouraging, she helped kids get interested, be creative and feel heard. I remember she helped encourage me to write lyrics to a ballad for a writing assignment and it has stayed with me all these years. Condolences to her whole family and all that loved her. She will be missed and always remembered fondly.
