Condolences for Ernest C. Martelli, Jr.

Matthew MartelliWednesday, September 8th

Rest In Peace Big Ern. My family and I enjoyed our last visit with you in Bonita. You had a Big smile and an even bigger heart. You will truly be missed.

Ernest C. Martelli, Jr. was a man who I admired, he was a hard-working, committed family man, who was always eager to pitch in to assist anyone in need. Because of his family's history in the flower growing business, Ernest had the ability to turn a simple pot and flowers into a beautiful masterpiece. If you looked up the word "gentleman" in the dictionary you would find a picture of Ernest C. Martelli Jr. With his returning Home to Jesus, not only will he be missed by his family and friends, but society has lost one of the best we had. Ernest until we meet again, rest in peace, my friend.

My father who I worked for as an employee for 15 years from a adolescent through teenager into adulthood taught me how to be the person I am today. He taught me so well he became a partner with me for 25 years running the trucking business and helping with the Metal Fabrication business. I can’t emphasize enough of how his influence, knowledge and demeanor helped me build what the Martelli Companies have become. It’s going to be tough going forward without him but I will be sure to impress him while he watches from above. R.I.P. Dad you will be missed
Love you
Ernie
