Condolences for Fred H. Beckerich Jr.

Randy SpaideFriday, January 28th

“The comfort of having a friend may be taken away, but not that of having had one.” The Car Club Community has lost one of the nicest people that was a friend to so many car guys. Fred really made a difference in so many lives and he always had kind words and happiness every time we were together. We will miss you Fred Beckerich!!

My heart just aches for Fred's family and for the personal loss we feel. He and Jean were such a big part of our lives when we were first married and when we had our first child. He was such a gentle soul, a good husband and father and such a proud grandfather. He loved showing pictures. We have a group of old friends who get together periodically for lunch or dinner. Fred was there in June when we last met. I left my seat and went around the long table to talk with him and see his latest grandkid pictures. I gave him a kiss, and I'm so glad I did. Rest in peace, dear friend. You will always hold a special place in our hearts. To Denise, Bonnie and Todd our deepest sympathy in the loss of your Dad and love, "Janie" and George
