Condolences for Alfred Russell

Linda BrennerWednesday, June 22nd

Raised a great woman in Peg!

Christopher GussmanFriday, June 24th

Al was a wonderful person. He could grow any plant, rare or common, and grow it well! This allowed him to build a thriving business ( Russell Gardens- Grower of Rare Plants)…known far and wide, people came from several states to buy truckloads of quality plants. Alfred was always interested in seeing and learning about new things. He treated his family and his employees very fairly. He was not one to BS and did not tolerate BS from others. It was obvious he loved his wife Jeanne, his daughters and granddaughters, and rest of his family. I am blessed to have known him and to have worked for him in my younger days. Hugs to all his family.

Elaine (Russell) CochranSunday, June 26th

Family of Edward (younger brother of Al) and Jonetta Russell: want to express our condolences to Aunt Jeanne, Peggy, Diane, Joe, Melissa and Christine. Uncle Al was so kind, hard-working, and selfless. We thank him for diligently keeping up correspondences seeing how the Ed Russell Family was always doing. Thank you for taking care of the Russell Farm, beautiful renovation of farm house, and your diligence in your work and showing this to others. We will miss you. We pray for the Alfred Russell family and may the Lord give you strength, comfort, in your loss. I pray the Russell Family be a testimony to those we interact with, and see the support we have for each other, and love we have for family, thanks to the love given to us from the Lord that shines through us.
