We loved Jim as our friend for many years. He made us laugh and we shared many stories about his job as a bus driver and about his family. He loved being an usher and always greeted everyone as he gave out church bulletins with a smile and said, “Have a good day!” We will miss him, but we will see him again.
Condolences for James P. Casey Sr.
Jim was my wife Patty's Uncle. He was proud to be a Casey and that made him welcoming me into the Casey family from Day 1 so special to me. He truly would do anything to help anyone who needed it. I will miss him dearly but will never forget him.
Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. Sending prayers to the entire Casey family. Wishing you peace and comfort during this time.
Such a wonderful man from a great family that held a special place in my family’s hearts. On behalf of all of Tom and Anne McGovern’s children, you have our love and prayers.
Casey was a great friend & Co-Worker. Our deepest condolences to the Casey family.
Larry and I won't know what to do @ 7:45 Mass on Sundays!
We will miss Jim's warm smiles, passing the basket ,and his love for all of us so especially evident by his love for his wife, Ann, and his children.
I am sad that he is gone but not gone in our hearts or memory.
We are all only a breath away, Jim, so catch us when its time!!
Give us a wink when we see you again.
Jim was a super first cousin. He was as close to me and my family as were my own brothers and sisters. Casey could be counted on every thing family. We shared family reunions, Father Judge games, Casino visits, Ocean City gatherings and any family gathering regardless of distance. His void will not go unnoticed. May the Grace of God reward him as he rest in peace, Amen
Uncle Jim was a big part of my life from being there the night my mom died, his constant care of my grand mom an grand pop in Bensalem, and at Chandler Hall, to visiting with the Casey's in Ocean City. Thanks Uncle Jim for always looking out for us. You were always bigger than life and you genuinely cared about people and your family (and the people connected to your family). I hope to take your example into my life...Peace and Blessings.
Mr. Casey was one of my father's dearest, closest friends. He was an example to all of a caring, loving and loyal friend. We will remember him with a smile on our face when we think of his friendly and fun nature. God Bless you Mr. Casey, you will be missed.
To the Family,
Jim will be missed by Elda (mom) & Gail we would see him after the 7:45 mass he would make us smile.
Jim helped my mom when a teenager tripped her before mass in 11/3/13 it meant a lot to us for his help.
The whole family will be in our prayers.

To the Casey family,
Uncle Jim was certainly a “bigger than life” kind of guy. He was always ready to offer a hand in friendship and help out those family and friends that meant so much to him. We, in my family, always appreciated and gave thanks for all he did for us, especially after our own Dad passed away so many years ago. I know that my Mom, my brothers and the rest of our family will miss his boisterous laugh on holidays and his legendary directing of traffic in any parking lot he found himself in but, most of all, we will miss his imposing presence and the example of loyalty and friendship he set with all who met him.
Dear Ann and Family
We send our deepest condolences on your loss of a wonderful husband,Dad and Grandad. Jim was a kind and loving person. May your memories comfort you in this time of enormous grief. Sending prayers. May Jim Rest in the arms of The Lord

Having grown up with Jim and the Casey family from Cedar Street I know he will be missed. I got to renew an old friendship when I started to ride a Septa bus over the Boulevard in the 1980's. Truly sorry for your loss. I was known by the nickname of AB at Cohocksink Rec. center
On behalf of the transport workers union local 234, it is with a heavy heart that I must relay our condolences to the family and friends of our Union Brother, Jim Casey. Jim was a very active member of the TWU for many years and will be surely missed by all. It is unfortunate that We will be unable to attend due to Covid restrictions, associated with our daily duties as Frontline workers. However I would like Jim’s wife Ann to know that if she has any questions to please call me at the union hall for assistance. I would also like to send a bible on our behalf. Thank you,
Joe Coccio

Jimmy WAS family! May God bless his loving family now, and show them the comfort that Jimmy showed each of us, in our times of need. Though some of us are lucky enough to call him family, each of us has truly been blessed to have known him! I can only imagine how lively the party in heaven got, once Jimmy arrived. Our thoughts and Prayers are with you all.
We are so sorry to hear about Jim’s death. We first met Jim in 1949 at his parents home on Cedar Street in Port Richmond while visiting Miriam, his sister, on several occasions. Miriam was my classmate, Rich Taylor’s husband who was our Best Man at our wedding.
Met Jim several times at St. Andrews daily Mass.
R.I.P. Jim.
