What a wonderful and kind person Denise was. So soft spoken with such a calming voice, but with such strong messages and wisdom. One of the sweetest people I ever met. Every nurse who crossed her path, learned some thing from her! God rest your soul Denise you've earned it. With sympathy, Sue Clymer
Condolences for Denise M. Rouse (Kelly)
Deny was the last of her immediate family & I will miss her dearly. 57 years ago she was in nursing school inJacksonville, FL & I was in a Navy Fighter Squadron at Cecil Field, FL. She introduced me to my wife of 57 years & I have thanked her numerous times. I’m sure she had an express ticket straight to heaven.5
There are no words to describe how Denny brightened our lives. We met 61 yrs. ago at St.Vincent’s Hospital in Jacksonvill Fl. Our friendship grew even stronger when we started traveling together each yr. She enriched our lives and was so generous with her love. Denise will be missed terribly but she leaves so many wonderful memories . I believe that we will all be together again and we will see her smiling face . Rose
I met Denise on a Viking cruise down the Rhine five years ago. A lovely lady with a sense of humour, who shared lots of laughs with four Aussie travellers. She became my Yankee Facebook friend along, with Karen Heller. My condolences to her family. RIP Da Niece!

I had the privilege & pleasure of working with Denise in the Education Department at St. Mary Medical Center. She was the kindest person and a true friend. I will miss her smile and sense of humor. Rest in peace my dear friend!
For 35 years, I knew Denise, sharing her delight, concerns and milestones. She has always been honest, forthright and compassionate.
Her nursing knowledge and skills were remarkable.
However, as my friend, she was heartwarming, funny, loving and genuine –for this, I am extremely grateful.
RIP Denise and give hugs and kisses to my Joe
Denise was my coworker, teacher, mentor, but most importantly she was my FRIEND. A friend and confidant I will miss and remember forever. My heart is sad and happy at the same time, sad because of our loss but happy because it is filled with so many happy memories of Denise and our friendship

My heartfelt condolences for your loss. We spent many hours sharing stories of all of you over the years that we worked together and then updates after I left. She was a great work partner and a supportive good and caring friend who will be missed.

I’m so sorry to hear this.sincere condolences to her family Denise was one of the first people I remember meeting at st. Mary. Cheerful and a joy to run into. She’ll be missed always.
I met Denny when we attended nursing school so many years ago, we were roommates our senior year. I was so pleased to reconnect with her about sixteen years ago and it was as if nothing had changed. She was a fun and special person that I admired, quick witted and wise. So glad for the time spent with her in October and pleased I had the opportunity to meet Keith and Bridget and I feel like I knew you all from her stories. My prayers for the family that now must go on without her physical presence, but I know she is always right there with you. She loved and was proud of each one of you. I will miss her!
